Evangelism — sharing the Christian gospel — is understood somewhat differently across the range of Anglican churchmanship. Within the Evangelical Anglican tradition, it is often given particular emphasis: personal faith, Scripture-centred preaching, and direct invitation to conversion.
More broadly across the Communion, evangelism is usually held together with the wider Five Marks of Mission — proclaiming the gospel alongside teaching, service, justice, and care for creation — so that sharing the faith and living it out in practical ways are seen as part of the same calling.
